Been in this hotel for two and half week. Apart from the unhygienic conditions in rooms, i had to put up with it because i am new to this city(been transferred). So have to stay here for sometime. On 8/10/2010, Friday(today), i was served dinner(thali) which had a one and a half long sharp metallic wire. On bringing this to the notice of waiter and the receptionist they tried to ignore it, saying it won't happen again. But when i asked for the complaint register, the receptionist said that it is with the General Manager(further referred to as the GM) who had locked it and gone home. On further probing for a way, he told me to write a letter to the GM. After writing the letter at the time of submitting it, when i told him to give me a received Xerox copy, he refused to acknowledged it. The argument became heated and he started misbehaving. At last, i got him to sign it with the date. The case is not for me alone, there are people who have to reside in this hotel because they don't have company quarters. They have told me that same kind of things have occurred with them. If some action is taken they would come forward and support it. Please advice as to what further action can be taken. Is there any such thing as FOOD AND HEALTH AUDIT for HOTELS?
And what should i do to resolve this matter. I am not at all happy with the behavior and the attitude of the Hotel Employees. They are kind of a monopoly in Panipat. Please help.
