Hi,

I would like to keep you informed that there is a flaw in CINEMAX website. I had booked 3 tickets today for the movie ladies vs rickey behl to go with my family in the newly opened soull space spirit cinemax in TOTAL MALL, Bangalore. But the incharge over there refused to give us ticket saying that their online ticket booking is not yet started.

I was not alone who had this problem there were close to 15 people around there fighting for the same but the rude and non coperative guy out there responded very badly. Neither i was refunded the money nor i got the tickets for the show. I was told to go to central mall cinemax which is another mall which is 6km far from this mall.

I have been going to your central cinemax, bangalore theatre regularly and it is the first time i had such a pathetic experiece in TOTAL MALL. I had to come back home without watching the movie after loosing money what i had paid.

I have got an sms confirmation of the booking ID. I have got the mail confirming the booking. Its not me alone who had this problem. There were many people out there who had this problem.

I want it to be fully compensated. Its none of my fault to loose my time, energy, mood and money.


Can You Guys Please Suggest, what action can i take to get my money refunded.

I live close to the area (between Central and Total mall) and am waiting for the online booking for Total mall cinemax to start.

Cinemax web site's poor reference to 'soul space spirit' must have lead to your problem. Central mall cinemax used to be called 'central : soul space spirit', which is the same thing they have posted on top of Total Mall. They have fixed it now and changed the name of the central mall cinemax online. The theatre in central mall is called 'bangalore 1: above central, belandur' on cinemax web site now. The second one (total mall one) has not been added online yet.

Since I have been waiting to see a movie at total mall cinemax, I know that its not available online yet. So the customer support at theatre was right in directing you to the central mall cinemax because you really booked your tix there.


BTW, I am in no way related to cinemax and am an ordinary movie goer like you.
