I booked 2 movie tickets for 'Rockstar' at PVR website on 11 Nov,11 using PVR gift card (No.100070003000093) worth Rs.500.
The total transaction value was Rs.520 and hence I opted to pay the rest of the amount using my credit card. I entered the credit card details but the transaction failed and I received an error message denoting the same. I then opted to go through the same process again to complete my booking. To my surprise, the moment I entered the Gift Card details I got a message saying that there was Zero balance on my Gift Card. On the other hand, I did not receive any email or SMS from PVR, either with the booking details or with the transaction failure notification. None of the helpline numbers are working and the feedback option on the website is also getting timed out over and over again. The local PVR number is going on ringing without any response. This is utter harassment for a consumer and is least expected from a brand like PVR.
This is a big fraud by PVR Cinemas. Pls help and lets sue them for cheating consumers.
