Default SeventyMM - Poor Delivery and False Promises

Dear Sir/Madam

Dear Sir/Madam,

I had enrolled for 3 months membership with Seventymm and have been through various false promises since the day of the membership. For the last 10 days, I have received only a single movie. It is very disappointing to know that the Board Members of Seventymm, who are the so called Elite group who have graduated from American Universities, have no concern whatsover of the customers. Especially, when such a portal is compared to the likes of the Blockbuster, Netflix etc. portals in the West. All we get to hear is the apologies and "sorry for the inconvenience" messages from Seventymm's call center located in Bangalore. In spite of sending 3 email reminders to the CEO, there is no action.

I caution all readers to please never ever subscribe to Seventymm for your DVD rentals. If anyone has been able to contact the Owners, please share with me, and I would like to ask for a resolution to my problems faced.

Default Seventymm a bag of false promises.

I had subscribed to seventymm with a one year advance rental scheme. Which offered 12complimentary dvds. The executive promised me that it will be delivered within first two shipments of the ordered movies. But you can just imagine...

These free DVDs never reached me. Everytime I asked for it, the executive replied, Sir, it was out of stock, now it will be delvered in the next shipment. Again wait for the next week, again the DVDs not arrived.

It is better to go and buy those DVDs from the market than to subsribe to seventymm.

I would like to warn each one of you to stay away from seventymm.

Thanks,

Default Anyone want to join me taking Seventymm to court?

I will pay for the court fee and lawyer. We have a very strong case. 70mm has advertised a number of 1930s (maybe 40s) movies on its website. When you ask for them they send you a new film with the same title I wanted to take them to Consumer Court. My lawyer says we should sue them for cheating
Anyone want to give me moral support?

Yes, i am all for it. I have been a member since 2 years.
How?? My email is justlemmebe@yahoo.com

following is email sent to CEO and customer services and got more false promises. Now I asked to cancel my account and refund so someone called to say as per terms & conditions, they do not refund any amount...

Please cancel my account. I have been constantly facing problems with
your services and I am tired of calling again and again, most of the
time Mubin disconnects my calls and your delivery services have gotten
bad to worse now since you started using Aramex.

It seems once you have your membership fees paid, you are not concerned
with customer services anymore.

I have myself been into customer services for several years but
fortunately the company and management I worked with were truly
concerned about customer care and we have very stringent quality
control. Sadly, it looks like 70mm only claims to be the best but
doesn't have professional people to handle customer complaints and
issues.

I had problems when I first changed my membership plan as the payment
did not reflect on your systems. Then after the membership expired I
wanted to cancel the account as I hadn't been 100% happy with it, but
I was convinced by one of your manager to continue and assured good
services.

Sadly, it was just a bunch of lies and the problems have continued and
Mubin gave me his number so I could contact him directly in case of
any issues, but he rarely picks up his phone. He doesnt return my
calls even after I send numerous texts to his phone with my complaints. It has been just a waste of time.

your Website goes down often, doesn't reflect the request or changes
made very often and when I send texts it has happened several times
that I recieve blank messages and so I end up wasting my time as well
as sms money.

I was told several times that my expiry date would be extended when I
had problems but in actuallity it is very rarely done. I recieved a
message last month saying my expiry date would be 16th Sep 2011, and
last week I got a message saying it has been extended due to failed
delivery and now the expiry date is 15th Sep 2011... What kind of
stupidity is that? How can my expiry date be 'EXTENDED' and the date
changed from 16th Sep 2011 to 15th Sep 2011.
Do you know what an Extension means??

Your automated services are the worst I have seen. I spend too much
time on it and realise that the voices stating the movies names are
not even understandable. Maybe you guys ought to listen to your own
automated services and see how much you understand of the English
movies titles that are being spewed out by people who obviously cannot
pronounce the titles correctly.

I am tired and frankly completely disappointed by such bad service. I
would rather join some other DVD club who can deliver their promises
and who have a branch here in Navi Mumbai so I can directly go and
pick my DVD, rather than wasting my breath, money, time and peace of
mind on 70mm.

Please cancel my account and refund my money.

Thumbs down False Promises and Big cheaters

I completely agree to the statements mentioned below. Seventymm pester you to take the membership .. give so many promises at the time of subscriptiona nd then no responses.. the people sitting in their call centres are observed to be some uneducated (on the processes within the company) bunch of clowns. The apparently cut the call when they dont know the response. I am not sure which authority provided them the right to set up such a fraudulent company Seventymm.
