I have taken the red studio membership with Club Mahindra in the month of July 2011.

I had been promised some benefits (gifts), one of them being 2 weeks of holiday at any RCI resort. On the basis of the same I had tried booking for Orange County Resort Coorg in the month of Feb 2012. I was replied saying that its not available inspite of it being a white season. Then I asked them to let me know any dates during the next year and they said that they would not be able to give the same against free weeks.

However, while selling the memberhip no such exceptions have been mentioned. I further have raised a complaint to club mahindra on Oct 5, 2011 and I got a call from RCI on Oct 8, 2011 repeating that the resort is booked for the next entire year. I had asked them to put the same in writing. However, I have not received anything in writing.

I had also called the resort and they said that no bookings have been done for the month of Feb 2012.

The facts as stated by RCI are not acceptable to any person of ordinary prudence. Its a case of making exceptions and not mentioning to same to the customers at the time of selling the product.

Club Mahindra is running away from its responsibility saying that its RCI issue. However, they are the once who have sold there product offering free holidays.

Since the time of the membeship its been a bitter experience and the life has been difficult rather than 'Jiyo life'.

I have lost all hopes of dream holidays and would be more than happy to cancel the membership. Its a frustrating experience you pay for. Stay away from the false promises.
