    Angry Compliant against Samsung India After Sales

    Hi,



    This is regarding a complaint for my A/C service. I am EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED with your AFTER SALES SERVICES



    I called up Samsung helpline number yesterday at 10.30 am to call an agent for A/C servicing. I was told that the engineer would call me in half an hour and let me know the time he would arrive.



    I did not receive any call and throughout the day, I called up the Samsung helpline number 6 times and every time they told me that the agent has been aligned and he would visit soon, however, there was no response. They even gave me the service center’s number (don’t know why though), however, even they didn’t pick up the phone. Its not my job to follow up with the service center to send an agent.



    Today again I called up and was told that someone would call me back soon, again there hasn’t been any response.



    This is a clear lack of ownership at the end of Samsung and completely unacceptable. When I buy something from Samsung, the least that I expect is good after-sales service which I have not received.



    It doesn’t matter to the customer whose miss it is. For me, it’s a FAILURE ON SAMSUNG’s PART, that’s it.



    I don’t think I would ever want to buy anything from Samsung now and would spread this word of mouth to everyone who seeks my advice while buying any Samsung product.

    Its been 4 days now and there hasnt been no resolution. Need help.

    Never to buy the samsung products, they are really pathetic and dont ever expect after sale service this people they dont even turnup. I was so disappointed by their washing machine, tv, refrigerator that i sold them in six months.

    I have attached the letter sent to consumer forum seeking help. On 20.12.10 i have received a letter from Mr.Karthick of techno care that the instrument was ready on 15 th dec-10 and i did not collect. but on 15 th Dec-10 i was asked to come to techno care at 5 p.m to collect as a last assurance . But when i came once again they informed that there was shortage ofstaff and it will take 2 more days. left with no option i have approached the consumer forum on 16 th Dec-10.
    This shows that your branch service head mr.Karthick's attitude to register a false intimation letter dated 18.12.10. This has happened only after i have approached the consumer forum on 16 th Dec-10.
    We have seen sales office busy with customers for purchase. But This is where i have seen the service station , where the customers are impatiently waiting in turns (with out even space to sit-already there are nearly space for min 16 persons) to get their samsung moblies to be rectified.
    It is surprising , how a reputed organisation has recruited such employees. this clearly shows lac of trainning in terms of customer support, legal handlings etc.
    One thing Mr.karthick has failed to understand due to immature experience that before taking to legal forum, one would have create & register records. like wise don't you think i would have recorded all conversations with you staffs stating the dates of telecon as evidence.

    Respected Sir

    I, J.Srinvasa Babu residing at 10-C Brindhavan Apts., 1st Cross Street, 1st Main Road, Ramapuram, Chennai 600 089, is working as Senior Manager-Operations for Rajsriya Automotive Industries Pvt. Ltd., Plot No.706, Door No.20/137B, Poonamallee Avadi Road, Paruthipattu, Chennai 600 071. I am responsible for commercial activities of the company as of now.

    I have purchased a new Samsung Mobile Model No.C 5212 – 353350036364463 Dual Sim Card from Univercell Telecommunications India Pvt. Ltd., Pondy Bazaar, T.Nagar, Chennai 600 017 through Tax Invoice No.10164 dt. 3.8.2010, UTN No.2420436. The cost of the mobile with all accessories as per the invoice is Rs.5020/- which was settled immediately.

    The new purchased mobile did not work from 10.11.2010, since there was no display on the display screen. On 11.11.2010 when I approached UniverCell, Pondy Bazaar, they informed that if this was given for service to them, it will take 15 days and if I need it urgently, I can contact the authorized showroom Techno Care, Old No.142, New No.64, 1st Floor, Habibullah Road, T.Nagar, Chennai 600 017, who will rectify in short duration, since this is under warrantee.

    Based on this, I approached Techno Care the authorized Samsung Service Centre at Habibullah Road, on 11.11.2010 and handed over my new Samsung mobile for rectification. They have issued a Work Order No.10TC1122 dt. 11.11.2010 stating that the mother board of the mobile has failed and it will take one week to replace the mother board, since stock of mother board was not available with them on that day. After one week when I approached them, once again they postponed the date stating that they have not received the spare mother board from their Central Office and it will take another one weeks time. Patiently I had been requesting them till 8.12.2010, but all in vain.

    I once again informed them any further delay in this replacement I will have to take it up for legal proceedings (when requested to replace me a new set, since they have not received the mother board, they expressed that they cannot support me by giving me a replacement) finally on 9.12.2010 when enquired in the evening, they informed that they have received the mother board and it will take two days to replace and to handover the mobile.

    From 11.12.2010 onwards daily they are postponing the dates and the reasons stated is shortage of staff. Yesterday 15.12.2010 afternoon at 2pm, when I asked for the final commitment I was assured that at 5pm on 15.12.2010 they will handover the set after replacing the mother board, in working condition. But when I once again went to their office, there was no proper response by the Service Staff and once again they informed that it will take time for them to replace.

    Initially when this issue has started dragging up, I have personally requested Mr. Karthik the Branch Service Head that it is very difficult for me operate without mobile, since I am handling the commercial aspect of my organization. Because of this defective mobile, I have lost all the contact numbers of my organization suppliers, customers executives and officials and all my friends and relatives numbers. Now I am in great difficult trying to recollect all the contact numbers from my old diaries and from my existing sources.

    Inspite of all this, I waited all along hoping that Samsung will solve the issue, since fair a chance has to be given to rectify, instead of accusing in the initial stage itself. But my views are found to be wrong and I have these below given points to legally file case against them:

    1. The reason for a quality approved product, manufactured from a reputed company to become defect within three months from the date of sales.
    2. The authorized dealer not supporting when the product sold by them are under warrantee have defects.
    3. Ignorance and negligence of the authorized service center of Samsung which has not supported in terms of rectification of the product under warrantee claims at the earliest
    4. Negligence of the service branch head Mr. karthik to monitor and followup the warrantee claims to be completed within a short period
    5. Since I came across physical strain and mental agony due to this, I request the honourable Judicial Dept. of India to consider that my rights to claim suitable compensation for the above is justifiable.
    6. I request that I would like to claim a full value of the amount paid to UnverCell for procuring the mobile for Rs.5020/-.
    7. Suitable compensation of Rs.5000/- towards my physical transit to the Samsung authorized service center Techno Care at Habibullah Road for more than seven times.
    8. A suitable compensation of Rs.5000/- towards the mental agony caused due to the above (to collect all my lost datas) which is an additional burden to overcome my day to day activities in my organization.
    I have attached the invoice copy & work order copy scanned for refference.
    ( a total of amount Rs.15020 /= only)
    I hereby request you to kindly consider the above and help me out on this regard.

    Default Service Complaint - Samsung refrigerator

    I think I made one of the bigger mistakes of my life when I bought a Samsung Refrigerator.

    The same people in the showroom, who were all smiles and full of promises to provide urgent help and service, now are as rude as anyone.

    My refrigerator has not been working for last three days, the showroom promises to ask someone to revert - but only after 4 days, and that too very rudely. When I try to call the service centre myself (which should not be a customers job) I end up speaking to some call centre who read only from a script - and find that my complaint has not been submitted by the showroom at all. 3 more days gone.

    My humble submission is - never buy a Samsung product and certainly not from Audio Voice, Gurgaon.

    Really worst mobile if I opened a web page display note will come "PAGE SIZE IS TOO HIGH CANNOT DISPLAY THE CONTENT PROPERLY" We cannot do further anything on that time all will goes not selecting

    What can I do this very asamed message then why we r selecting this type of mobile we shall move for any CHINA MOBILE same function will do that mobile really i am very unhappy to buy thi mobile really waste.

    I never reccomand this mobile to my friend
