Hi,

I bought a LG microwave convection on 31st October, 2010 from an LG dealer in Vaishali, Ghaziabad and the product is under guarantee.

In the first week of July, the microwave stopped functioning. The display showed "0" all the time and none of the buttons were working. I called LG Customer care number, 1800 180 9999 and logged a complaint on 12th July which is a month ago. The complaint number is RNA110711057762.

A service engineer came the next day and after checking the microwave, he said that there is problem with the PCB board and would need to be replaced. He said this will be done after 5-6 days since they would need to order the same from some other city.

Around 2 weeks later when I did not receive any response from the service engineer, I again gave a call to the customer care. I was again assured that someone would give a call within 24 hours and your problem will be resolved. I also spoke to the agency, Fair deal, and was told they would call back in 15 minutes with the date by when they would be able to repair the microwave. But as usual, I did not receive any call.

I waited for another WEEK, and I did not get any call and nobody turned up to fix the microwave. Frustrated, I gave another call to the customer care and got the same assurance that we apologize for the inconvenience caused and someone would give you a call within 24 hours.

Now, it has been more than a week and I have not received any call. I am not going to call the customer care again.

I need your help and please suggest how should we proceed because I am sick and tired of LG customer care and am planning to do whatever it takes to bring them to justice.
