We bought a Microtek Inverter from Mora Technologies situated at No. 14, 3rd street, Ravhavan Colony, Jafferkhanpet, Chennai - 600083 on the 19th of July, 2011. The inverter stopped working on 25th October, 2011. We tried calling the numbers provided in the customer invoice(24712748, 24718762). One of the numbers was unable to receive incoming calls, and they kept cutting calls in the other number. We looked up various numbers from online sites, and was finally able to reach a person, who gave us the number - 65650536, claiming it was the customer service number of their agency. We registered a complaint and a service personnel came up and did something on 4th Nov, but the inverter didnt work even after that.
We called them and complained again on 5th Nov, 2011, and they told us they will send another person on 7th Nov, when nobody turned up till 1 pm, we called them again, and they said that the service man will come sharply at 4 o clock, but they didnt send anybody.
We called them up again but now the customer service number was also switched off now. We caught the service person and asked him to come again, but he asked us to raise a complaint in a new number - 64550138, we contacted this number and reached a Ramesh Kumar. This guy kept on telling that he cannot do anything, and that service will be done the next day. when we told him that we cannot stay up one more day for this, he said that he cannot do anything for it. When we asked him if this was his customer service, he started bad mouthing us and told us that we should take the inverter to the Manufacturer and get it repaired and that he will not get involved in this.
When we went to this place to reach them in person, we were told that they had shifted altogether. Now we are stuck with an inverter that cost us 16000 rupees and is not working within the first 4 months. We have warranty for 2 years from Microtek, but they refused to attend to it saying that this is a battery problem.
We want to request that this Mora technologies license to operate be cancelled, since
-->they do not have one number that works,
-->they have absolutely no regard for customers, and to top it all, they BAD MOUTH customers when contacted.
