Sony India is taking people for a ride. I was presented a PS3 by a cousin, he had bought it in India , as the case had the bar code, plus all details of the Sony India office. After a year and a half it has gone bust . I asked Sony India to repair it and said that i would pay whatever money is required for the services. Sony India says that they would not repair it unless they see the warranty card. A warranty card of something which is not valid after a year!! but they will only repair if they have a warranty card.
Now Sony India is selling things for 25,000 INR and these products go bust in 18 months and are refusing to repair them even if the customer is willing to pay for the repairs??????

Wow how are these guys operating in this country??

sony service center havn't a repair policy for playstations or walkmans,bcoz spare parts are not available for these products,thats y if ur product is in warr dey will replace it....n for the outt of warr products,dey r having the new policies now...u can exchange ur ps3 at just 30% of MRP,dats around 6000 only n u'll get the new PS3 with 1 yr warranty....this policy is with all play stations now...so enjoy it...m enjoying too..

doesnt sony charge 50% and give ps3 without warranty. Is the piece new or refurbished ? the new update 3.61 gave my ps3 a ylod. sony should replace it for free instead of me buying another one. I switched it on and after 2 mins it went bust, i dint even game much after the update, think the new update corrupted the os or something as complaints are all over the internet.

do let me know about the return policy..please

my PS3 broke after 11 months of use.I gave it to sony.they said I"ll get it in 12 days.after 12 days i called-the reply-sir u"ll get ur PS3 after 4 more days.caleed after 4 days-sir u"ll get it after 3 days.I DONT BELIEVE THEM
