Sony walkman NWZ-B142F not working properly

    Angry Sony walkman NWZ-B142F not working properly

    I purchased a 2GB walkman on 30/8/09 which is not working properly.
    just after few months the earphones stopped working and were replaced under warranty
    then after a few days there was a major display problem which was again solved under warranty but since then the original sound quality is completely missing.
    sound quality has deteriorated.
    I tried twice but the walkman was send back by the company itself with a tag of 'OK'
    I don't what has happened to the walkman after it's recovery from the display problem because since then the sound quality is irritating
    just a month is left for the warranty period to get over
    I need that original sound quality back in my walkman
    the company is not ready to accept this problem,i don't know why the send it back twice with a 'OK' tag
    will the company help me or not??

    Just to assure you that the service team would have ****ysed the defects in your walkman well before putting the ‘OK’ tag and handing it over to you. If you still have concerns, please report it to our helpline 1800-103-7799. They would be able to help you further on this matter.

    even i have the same problem as i kshitiz had. i got this sony walkman as a gift from my friend. the warranty card does not have the dealer's stamp and i never got a gift with a bill!!

    and now the service centers say that they wont help me with this issue!! and i see this is such a common headache for everyone.

    the moment i attached the headset it stopped working, never i got a chance to hear that headset.
    and after few months they started creating problems.

    now they just keep charging and charging and charging... when i detach them from my laptop the keep loading and loading and loading. i don get to see the icons on the display.

    and then i run to service centres, they say "we cant help, cuz u don have dealer's stamp on it or an invoice" and i say that its a gift. they said we are sorry we cant help.

    THEN WHAT IS THE USE OF THE SERIAL NUMBER AND THE WARRANTY VALIDITY PRINTED ON MY WARRANTY CARD???

    listen you guys can just accept that it does not work. i'll just throw the SONY WALKMAN B142F and take a screen shot of this headache i am facing and send it to my friends.
    request them to purchase zebronics which cost less and works n sounds excellent.

    the headset does not work, after few months the player does not work..... what for we have to pay this much??!! and PLEASE don talk about that "ok" on it, because everything works fine in the first few months but not after 6 four months!!! whats the point in your "ok" on it. i could not find an issue with the driver either!!

    Default Sony is not same

    I bought a one nwz 142 f walkman 1 yr ago.

    Since then 1st problem came in 1 hr the headphones didnt work and was replaced by dealer himself
    next came in 1 month
    audio's bass went off leaving only treble but repair center took 1 month and gave me back with a OK tag
    I am an outstation student
    After I came back I myself demonstrated the problem to techinican who then acknowledged it
    This time I asked for a replacement but dint get one
    Again it came back after a month or 2
    Now as soon as it came back the diplay tuned upside down
    Now its completely bank with only blu lite and no white print.
    Amidst all this 1 yr went by, I wasnt able to enjoy my player.
    I even mailed sony support who dont reply back
    Guys sony is a junk company please dont buy it as its not the old sony.
    Even I am now switching over to apple now. this company just overcharges and gives junk.

    Smile sony walkman nwz b142f Not Working

    I bought a sony walkman nwz b142f 8 months ago.Now it stooping working because of battery.

    when i switch on, its display shows "Low Power" and automatically switch off.. i brought it from a shop in Coimbatore and the device still in Warranty period.

    Is this problem comes under the warranty?
