I mother had taken a car loan from CITI BANK in the year 2004 and the loan account number is Loan Number: CEU1240924915. Though the total amount has been paid to Citi Bank and she has also received NOC from the Bank. The hypothication of the Bank has also been removed from the car registration book but until now the same has not been updated by CIBIL.

My mother had taken a personal loan of Rs 94,000 from Citi Bank. The loan number is LAUK014692109. She has paid all the EMIs except one, for which later she has made payment of the total amount (which includes the principal +penal amount+interest).
She is still shown as a defaulter in CIBIL.

Myself Nipankar Bose, aspiring to pursue Msc from UK (2010/11). I have also received unconditional offer letter from Warwick University. I have also completed my Post Graduation in Management from a reputed Indian University and I am presently working with TATA group.

Recently, I had applied for an Education Loan from HDFC Bank, but after receiving all the documents the Bank rejected my application got cancelled as my mother is shown as a defaulter in CIBIL.

I have now became hopeless about my future.
Anyone please tell me that why should I be sufferer due to negligence of few people of CIBIL department.
Will my aspiration to pursue higher education will be in vain.
Is this CIBIL website made to harass common people of India.
