Hi,

I have taken a personal loan from Barclays Finance Andheri Branch (A/c No. LC016911005472445) in the month of March 2009 and have been paying the EMIs regularly. Last month the ECS mandate on my account was not honored because the account was short of funds. Looking at this, I proactively did a Internet Transfer of the loan EMI amount along-with the ECS dis-honor charges on 10th of June 2010.

Without my knowledge, the ECS was again forwarded to my bank and this time the bank honored the mandate and double EMI was deducted on 11th of June 2010.

Now, I have been following up with the Barclays call center by dialing their toll free number. Initially I was told to wait for 10 working days to get refund cheque back. After 10 working days I inquired again and was asked to wait for 7 more working days for getting the status on my refund.

Today is 8th of July and I am again asked to wait for 48 hours to get a revert on the status of cheque. Along-with this I got a very rude and bad response from the Team Leader Mohammad who rudely told me that this is their protocol and I can do whatever I want but will not get my amount back.

I am really angry the way the Barclays Finance people have been behaving and mentally torturing me for my money to get refunded. I request to have a stern action against them.
