Horrible experience while purchasing resale property

I am in then process of availing a home loan from HDFC Ltd(Panaji branch) for a resale property. I had submitted all my documents on 22nd of may and they gave me a sanction by 7thJune. That is 3 bloody weeks. When I went and asked them before starting then loan process they were happy to inform that the sanctioning will be done in 7 working days and it will take 3 working days for disbursement. I think they should not fool the customers like this. It has been 2 months for sanction and God knows when will they disburse the amount.
They will not do a follow up at all. I think at least nationalized banks are a better option at least they will follow up and will give you some definitive answer. Here I don’t get answer as the manager in branch is completely useless. Whenever I call him he just says that he will get back to me after talking to HDFC Panaji branch. I don’t know how HDFC selects their managers if they don’t have the power to take decisions.
It has been around 4-5 rounds of Panaji and Baroda and still I am waiting for a definitive answer as to when I will get my loan disbursed.
Also every time I go there is a new person who studies my case and asks me silly questions which I have already answered to their previous employee. I don’t know what is the process they follow and why don’t they stick to a single individual.
Also all these people are uneducated as whenever you ask them something about some documents, why are they needed they straightly tell that they do not have the knowledge and will have to talk to legal team. They are also not sure of what all documents are required. I think a person working in the branch for 6 months will be aware of all the processes.
being a GOA GOVERNMENT HOUSING FLAT all the documents were submitted to both the baroda and the goa branch were complete but i do not know the GOA branch (Mr. Namit Chimbulkar and Mr. Arun baliga) has not sent the legal file to baroda branch my home loan account number issued on , the say that the file has been sent back to baroda to on sat 24 july but they are lying since and giving lame excuse and when trying to contact from baroda they do not reply the mail form the baroda branch also, now when contacted from baroda on 05/08/10 they did not say that certain paper are missing in the file since i was there in Goa from 19 july till 24 july they should have said it when i was there in GOA and every time visiting the bank I could have made arrangement with the seller for the papers and I have wasted my one week time in Goa but not getting result . think that the GOA branch wants to take to COMMISSION, it has been now two months and would like to have compensation for the metal disturbance cause to my family members

I would beware that it is never an option to go to HDFC Ltd for any resale home loan related issue.
