I don't understand what is HDFC Pre-Approval Loan, and if its really pre-approval, then why it take so long to get approval,

I had applied recently for Car Loan, in fact i had a premium account membership with other bank , but i was told by HDFC Bank representative it shall take less time and less documentation, and its already pre-approved, you can fill the form and book a car,

the way i was told by bank - representative, i told my friend, i never seen getting loan is so easy, i had submitted all required document, and this is the beginning of the story,

Now this is 6th day and whenever i enquired, he said you don't need to call, we will call you and your loan will be approved today,

To HDFC Bank i have one sincere request,
1 -- You shouldn't have tell customer its pre-approval loan, if you will do all background check once i filled the document,

2 -- be realistic with customer, it really helped us customer to decide the plan, now i am in Big trouble, i am getting call from Car dealer regarding my car booking and whenever i talked to bank i will get repeat message, Sir don't worry your loan will be approved today,

hallo Amith,

i have a pre-approved two wheeler loan... I am bit hesitant now to go and book a new bike, as I was planning.. can any one put some light on this matter so that I can avoid any sort of problems that may come.
