HI,

I have provided ECS mandate form for RBS alongwith the cancelled cheque.
But the ECS is returned on 15th with reason: MANDATE NOT FOUND and my saving bank have charged me for ESC return.
I called ICICI Car Loan and found that the Bank name is registered as ABN-AMRO instead of RSB.

I have few questions:
1. Why the ECS is returned, if all the formalities was done from my side?
2. Why the ECS is failed and who is responsible for it.
3. Why my bank registered as ABN-AMRO instead of RBS?
4. Why I should bear charges from my saving bank account for your mistake?
5. What are the next step to correct the entries?

I visisted your branch at Noida Sec-61 and according to them, I have filled up the incorrect form. And re-submit the ESC mandate form will charge me cheque swap charge of Rs.500.
Plese send me the scanned copy of the mandate form, if it is not correct.
