Dear Sir,

I got the ICICI credit card issued in the age of 18yrs and i used the card for almost 3 times and i paid all the due on time. but for the fourth time my card was misused for 16000/-rs and according to the customer service of icici bank i forwarded a fax to the bank after that i again follow up with the bank for that but they told me to pay that amount atleast in EMI. But the amount which i have not used i cant pay.
After some days they started harrasing me for the payment. I denied to make payment and then i destroyed the card and through that in dustbin, I was not given any proper response for ICICI Bank.

This above case took place in 2008 or 2009 and this is end of 2010, I got a call from some agency yesterday they want me to do the settlement and for that they want me to pay 17500/- out of 34000 including interest otherwise they fill file a case against me. Which i personally think is wrong.
Sir I work somewhere but i am not in a position to pay this amount because of my personal basic necessity.

Please Help me in this case and guide me accordingly.
