Dear Team ,

Subject : LIC Housing Finance Ltd : Refund of processing fee encased via cheque no.624461(Rs 8810 ) required . (Ref. File no for LIC HFL -609154)

I am very much embarrassed and harassed by seeing the efficiency of LICHFL officials.
It has been more than six months that processing fee was charged twice to me via cheque no: 624455(3/11/2009 , Rs 9927) and 624461(17/11/2009 , Rs 8810) respectively for loan reimbursement of amout Rs 20 lacs .
When I asked for an explanation in this regard the officials informed me that Rs 8810 was deducted by mistake from my account and they have en cashed my cheque given to them by mistake .
Till date I am following with them via mail , phone etc but of no use.
I went to their office but they are always ready with excuses like server is not working , designated officer for the issue is on leave , arranging for approvals etc .

Neither did they adjusted this amount of Rs 8810 in my EMI nor did they refund me the money .

This behavior of LICHFL is highly unprofessional and unethical .
LICHFL being such a reputed name for years has let me down and has broken my faith in them .
I am a 27 years old software professional working with a MNC and I am dishearten to see the lethargic and casual behavior on part of LIC officials in this regard .

I hope LIC Housing Finance Ltd Team will address my issues asap and take some prompt action in this regard .
There were many future investments which I could have done with them ,but their irresponsible behavior has shattered my faith in them and I no longer intend to do any future business with them , neither will I recommend anyone about them .

Can someone help me in this regard ?
