I had applied for a Home Loan nearly three months back through Arup Ghosh of Swastik Agency of LICHFL and it was committed by him that the project, where I'm purchasing the flat, is clean, so loan can be sanctioned within 15 days of application. Thus I paid the initial processing fees of Rs. 1103/- (cheque No - 026687 through ICICI Bank) towards the same to LICHFL and also submitted all required document either in original or photocopy.
Now suddenly after three months they (LICHFL & their agent) turned down my application saying that the builder is not having required no of ready projects present. It was clearly communicated to Mr. Arup even before applying for the loan that the builder has only one ready project. In such scenario, LICHFL shouldn't have taken my application at all knowing that my builder is having only one project prior to this. So, it is a fault from LICHFL side and thus I request LICHFL to return all my & my builder's documents (both originals & photocopies) on top most priority and also refund the processing fee of Rs. 1103/-, as there was nothing to process in this case.
