Private Lender Needed

I am looking for a private lender for a personal loan for $6k -$10K for a 12 month term. W-2's and employment verification available. Employed by the same company for over 15 years and make a decent salary (verifiable). Credit shot due to divorce and an unforeseen family matter this past year that has depleted the emergency fund. Looking for a loan to consolidate and pay off a few bills. It would be great ROI and short term investment paying a higher return than the banks or other investments can offer for a private lender. Any thoughts on how to actually located a private lender? I appreciate any help or recommendations you may be able to provide.
