I took a personal loan from M/s Fullerton India Credit Company Ltd, Jaipur office and my Loan account no was LAN019325000004850. I am resident of Jaipur and working here

I foreclosed my loan account with cash payment of Rs 15000/- on 2/7/2009 and receipt of payment was issued to me vide Receipt no 1559617.

On 22/8/2010 i.e 1 year after the foreclosure of the above loan accounrt I have received a summon from Special Court, N.I Act, Jaipur regarding my appearance sought for in the Case filed by M/s Fullerton India Credit Company Ltd regarding repayment of the dues in the abovementioned loan account.

On enquiry from the Jaipur office of M/s Fullerton India Credit Company Ltd i came to know that though my loan account has been fully repaid but due to some of their internal error, my laon account is showing some bouncing and in furtherance of which they have filed complaint against me. They told that they owuld withdraw the complaint and NOC would be issued subject to the withdrawal of the complaint and take another two or three months.

Request you to suggest me how to proceed further and if possible do the needful. I am presently working in a Bank and couldnot afford to engage a lawyer for this much amount as the professional fee of good lawyer is much more than my foreclosurer. Kinldy suggest some way as to how to proceed in this type of erroneous cases and comlaints filed resulting in harrassment of me.
