I had taken PL of Rs 2.00 lakh in 2008. I wanted to make part payment to reduce my interest burden since 2008. They didnt accept. I was asked to make payment as per emi. My right to reduce interest burden was deprived. I have closd the account from which Cheques were issued. I wanted to close the account as One Time Settlement. They are telling I have to make balance 14 emi. or i have to close with preclosure charges.

They are asking to visit their collection officer. Their local office at Bangalore doesnt have telephone. I have to make personal visit which is difficult for me due to health reason.

I have offered 65000 as One time Settlement as against balance outstanding of 85000. This is in consideration of refusal to accept partpayment and my health reason and decreasing income to avoid defaulter. EMI for Oct 11 has not been honoured as I have closed the account from which cheque was issued. Now I am planning to move Consumer court pleading onetimesettlement counter offer from reliance I have approached an advocate in this regard
