I have made a transaction of Rs 2450/- in a shop in Kolkata using my Allahabad Bank ATM cum Debit Card on 22/08/11however due to the machine was not functunal the transaction did not get through and there was no transaction slip generated. But i could later check that my account was debited with the same amount for the failed transaction. I had lodged a complaint with Allahabad Bank (Complaint No. 317105) on 23/08/11 where they said the dispute will be settled on 10/10/2011. But when it was not settled on 10/1/2011 i had again lodged a complaint (Complaint No. 338504) to which they said that the said amount has been credited to the merchant's account. When i had asked them that how the amount can be credited to the merchant's account when the transaction slip does not have the Account Holder's signture on it. The bank says that they do not check the signature on the Transaction Slip nor do they match it with the account holder's signature.

Please suggest me how to get my money back.
