This is to bring in to your kind notice that I am having a saving account in your Reputed Organization called Punjab National Bank; account number is 1988000102873292 and Customer number is D11042395.
I wish to inform about an incident was happened with me on 4th of October 2011 while I was at your ATM, Badarpur to withdraw my salary. I need to get withdraw a sum of ` 9000/- and after completion of ATM withdrawal process I only received an acknowledgement that shows “Transaction Decline” (enclosed) instead of amount and your machine was seems as corrupted. I then rush to the next ATM (which was approx. 1.5 km away) and withdraw a sum of ` 2500/-, this was of Indian Bank. Through the mini statement I had come to know that ` 10000/- had been debited from my account, this was the most shocking moment for me. I called up at your customer care immediately to inform all that happened; Mr. Ashish had given me the reference number i.e. 56314837 towards my complaint and assured that the said amount will be credited/shown in my account with in seven working days.
Next day I had talked with the officials of my home branch (i.e. Bhikaji Came Place) and they had advised to contact customer care only. After my 2nd inquiry call on 12.10.11, Mr. Madhav had informed that my request has been rejected and I won’t get my money back from bank, please contact the branch only. Bank officials are also denying my case, according to them, “The said amount had been withdrawal either by you or someone else which we are not responsible”.
I’m working as a Field Officer in M/s. Aeren R Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., 2A, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi; always depositing my salary cheque in your bank and withdraw through my ATM Card only but this was done first time with me. Being a Field person I’m not been able to afford/consider that this much of amount has lost. This figure is so mean to me & my family, how can I manage all my routine.
If I had withdrawn the said amount (i.e. ` 10 k) as per your officials; I wish to inform you that it must be recorded in your CC TV Camera and it can be viewed through the same. This is my humble request to you is to please help me out as I’m very keen of my amount; you must be understand my position n situation. That amount was the result of my whole month’s efforts n best hard work.
Once again I’m requesting you to please go through this whole issue personally and by resolving this let me have my amount back. I shall be very thankful to you.
