Thumbs down ATM cash withdrawal never happened

I have my salary account in HDFC bank. On the 4th of Oct at 4:44 AM i tried withdrawing 10,000 rupees from a SBI atm. To my surprise, the transaction failed all the 3 times that i tried. The same day at about 7:30 AM, i got a message from HDFC bank that the said amount was deducted from my account.

Since that day, i have been trying to speak about the details of this transaction by have got no success. I tried speaking to bank officers, they advised me to wait and watch, Post the same, i would have tried calling the phone banking about 100 times but unable to reach a live person. Tried sending emails to customer care but there is still no go.

Please advise me what do i do? As an amount of rupees 10,000.00 is not a small one and it means a lot to me.

if this matter is not resolved by Wednesday, i am going to take this matter to HR and Finance Dept of my company and ask them to move our services from HDFC to some other reliable bank.

Default re credit of Rs. 7500/- to SB A/c No. 10461067738

Yesterday 12.10.2011 at arount 10 am to 10.30 am I attempted to withdraw cash of Rs. 2500//- from the ATM of Canara Bank at New Thippasandra Main Road, Near BEML, HAL 3rd stage, Bangalore but I could not get cash from ATM instead the advice was 'UNABLE TO PROCESS'. I visited another ATM just opposite to Canara Bank ATM on the same Road ie.Oriental Bank of Commerce ATM when I was trying to withdraw a sum of Rs. 2500/- but I did not get cash but the advice from ATM is 'unable to process your request' but I tried one more time thinking whether I gave the PIN no. or not when I pressed the button for Rs. 2500/- it asked whether you want printed receipt for that I pressed Yes after that it did not dispense cash and the machine started blinking by saying transaction over and open page appeared in the ATM saying welcome to ATM. It did not give any print advice or print receipt. It did not even show the cash balance but it went off.
But my passbook entry shows debit of 2500/- 3 times ie totaling to Rs. 7520/- (ie. withdrawal 3 times Rs. 2500/-, Rs. 2500/- & Rs. 2520/-). Now I request my SBI Branch Manager to recredit an amount of Rs. 7500/- to my SB A/c 10461067738 immediately.
Today I approached SBI Branch Manager and gave the complaint letter. But I am not getting the online telephone complaints. It is always engaged.
