Axis bank did not close my student account no 441010100017295

I have my student acct with axis bank at rangpo branch (sikkim), I applied for closure from pune on 8th march, and they told me they will close and refund the cheque of balance amt withing 3-4 days, but i did not get it, and now they are saying its a normal account and they have debited rs 500 for not maintaining AQB after the closure application date.
I have the acknowledgement receipt of the closing the account.

so plz help
