    Angry Cheque relate issue-Worst banking experince from ICICI bank

    Hi,

    I have an account in ICICI bank, Account Id : 017701527170. & ICICI credit card too.
    I deposited a cheques in ICICI bank ambattur, Chennai branch on 30th April 2010, and cheques details are mentioned below-
    1) Cheque Number- 343369
    2) Bank's name cheque belongs to- State Bank of India
    3) Branch- S.B.I. Main Branch, Varanasi (U.P.)
    4) Cheque Amount- Rs. 23910/-

    Problem is ICICI bank doesn't have any update about that cheque because of this i am not able to make ICICI bank's Credit card.

    Bank is not able to get the details of cheque but able to charge the fine for late paymeny and all, While it's bank's mistake only why I am not able to make credit card payment.

    Apart from all this I have visited Ambattur branch 4-5 times and written many mails to ICICI customer care but all are worthless.

    So can someone help me loggin a case in consumer court against ICICI bank.

    Hi,

    I have been assured many times from your branch and customer care but nothing happend so far.I can tell you the names also who promissed to resolve my issue but never turned up (B.Swarna latha,Shirisha Padmini,G Vamshi,Dinesh Mishra and Mr. Tejas from Ambattue branch).
    I have few SR numbers too like- SR141506709,SR142014205.
    I have long mail-chain with your customer care, what i have mentioned at end of this mail.

    Now tell me having an account in ICICI bank is crime,sin or what ? Why would I like to have an account with you.Anyways just get my cheque cleared and wave off all the late payment from credit card.
    After clearing cheque and waving off late payment charges and other extra charges tell me the amount i need to pay.
    I don't want to have any account or CC in ICICI bank.

    Hi,

    According to your mail it seems like you people are fully dependent on SBI then how do commite any time frame(like 7 days or 21 days) for clearing of cheque ?
    What if SBI doesn't update you by 4th June ?
    If their is any follow up procedure ? If yes then why didn't you initiate it earlier ?

    Please note that the cheque has been sent for the clearance, we didn't receive credit from SBI Varanasi.

    The letter send to Varanasi branch, we are following with Varanasi branch for credit, we will reply you with the status by June 04,2010.

    Thumbs down A Bank who does not know what customer care is about

    I am having credit card with ICICI bank, from past 2 months I have faced issues related to payment
    for some reason they have removed the drop box from the ATM's and they do not have the curtsy to inform
    customers about the change, and the cheque I had dropped took 15 days to clear and I have been penalized with late payment fee and interest on the top, again this month I had deposited the cheques in a drop box
    which is not cleared even after one week, this is one of the worst kind of bank service I have seen, I would advise people to not to have any kind of relationship with ICICI, I will be cancelling all my ICICI Credit cards, Insurance at the earliest.

    Angry Chequa issue

    Hi Sir,

    I have deposited my chequa in your ICICI Bank ATM
    G-20/21 Krishna Apra Building P-3 Sector 18 Noida.
    That chequa is from standard chardted bank and
    chequa number is 317082 and amount is 11500 RS.
    My account is 030501517137 which is in Salt lake
    kolkata(W.B.). Issue is that chequa is not cleared
    even yet. I tried in ICICI bank sector 12 But could
    not get proper response. Then I moved to Sector 10
    Noida I got same response from there.

    Yesterday I went to same ATM and found that
    Nobody has gone to collect the chequa there.
    There is no guard there. On that chequa box
    room some building maintenance work is going on.
    I talked to labour he told me Nobody has come to
    colect the chequa.

    I think this is huge mistake of ICICI management
    a lot of customer is suffering badly.

    Please arrange to collect the chequa from
    this address ATM.

    Hi,
    I am Jagadeesh, dropped check in cunnigham road branch on sep 30th. till now its not cleared. 4 working days over, still there check is not cleared. wheras in citi within a day another check got cleared. very poor service. dropped several complaints, no replies for any of complaints.Feeling very worst service.
