Respected Sir,

Sub:- Complaint against Axis Bank, Jatni Branch, Orissa regarding misguide and automatic withdrawal of ` 5,300/- from Savings Bank A/C No 718010100012272.

I had one Savings Bank account in Axis Bank, Puri No. 464010100002417 and there was regular Transaction through the account.
Due to the changing of work place from Puri to Jatni , I had been to Jatni Axis Bank to transfer my account from Puri to Jatni. Bank staff of Jatni Axis Bank advised me to surrender cheque book and ATM card ( Pass book was not issued from Puri) at Jatni Branch. Accordingly , I handed over the same and opened an account in Jatni Branch transferring the money by Bank staff on Dt.07.09.2009. From Jatni branch it was assured me that the A/C of Puri will be closed automatically. The A/C No of Jatni branch became
718010100012272. But still July -2011 the bank statement of Puri is being received by me at my present office address. It means either bank staff is not aware of the rules or misguide to the customers. The interest amount, which was calculated after transferring/closing was not paid to me. Such type of irregularities may kindly be looked into.
Another irregularity was that, on 15.01.2011 an amount of ` 900 was withdrawn through ATM of Marathali Multiplex at Bangalore. But on 17.01.2011, I came to know that ` 5,300/- has been withdrawn automatically on the same day after 4 minutes at Bharatpur, Hobli, Bangalore. I don’t know that what is the distance between Marathali and Bharatpur, Hobli, Bangalore and how is it possible to withdraw the amount without ATM card. There may be some technical problem which leads to show two transactions
at an interval of 4 minutes in different locations.
I lodged complaint in the Axis Bank, Jatni branch on 18.01.2011 and no satisfactory action was taken by Bank authority. They confirmed that that the transaction was correct. Since then I didn’t made any transaction
So, it is my request as a customer, please take necessary step to (i) pay the interest amount of Puri Branch closing the account and (ii) pay the amount of ` 5,300/- to my A/C No. 718010100012272 and intimate me.

Axis bank claims to offer easy credit cards if you open an FD with the bank. And they also claim that the card is issued within 7 days from the start of the FD, and without any kind of address verification. All that they need you to do is to have an FD with the bank which is linked to the credit card. and you need to submit the credit card when you want to withdraw the FD. Simple, right? But these are just claims. Even after a month from opening the FD, they have not processed my request for the CC. I have called the customer care guys, but they say they cant help me. And when I visit my Axis bank branch in HSR layout, the manager says that I need to provide address proof. My question is: Why claim something that Axis Bank cant fulfill. And I dint need to open an FD with the bank because the rates are so low...so now my money is stuck without any gains, and I dont even get a credit card. How fair is that...and the customer service at the branch sucks big time. Sometimes they even fail to understand your requests and when you try to make them understand, their fuse blows off. I pray to God that a top exec from Axis bank reads this.
