Dear Sir,
My name is Ankit Jain and I have Saving A/c No- 0317000109044711 with Mawana branch of Punjab National Bank (PNB). Currently, I am residing at Laxmi Nagar in Delhi. I did last transaction of withdrawal on September 18, 2011 of Rs. 1,000 at PNB ATM in Laxmi Nagar in evening and after that I did not do any transaction of withdrawal. However, when I checked my account balance on September 22, 2011 evening, I found a transaction of withdrawal of Rs. 15,000 on September 21, 2011. When I called in customer care for details, I was told that this withdrawal was done at PNB ATM at Sec-15 (Metro Station), Noida, at 8.51 a.m. on September 21, 2011 (Transaction No.-S42165688) and asked me to visit Sec-18, Noida branch. On Sep 23, 2011, I met with Mr. Akhilesh Sharma (Sr. Manager- PNB, Sec-18, Noida) and requested him to provide video footage of this. He told me that video footage for this ATM is being maintained by NCR agency. After this I mail my request to ncr agency at ps185104@ncr.com, pe230038@ncr.com and talked to Mr. _ who was suggected by Mr. Akhilesh Sharma, Sr. manager, Noida Sec, 18 PNB branch. But now 2 weeks have passed and I did not get any respone from their side and after this I called again Mr. to know current status of my complaint, but when I called to him he behave like a stranger , I remind him about my complaint but he could not recall. On Saturday 8th octber I again met to Mr. Akhilesh but as usual they said we forwarded your request in head office.
I am getting only commitment but not response. Why PNB and 3rd party are taking so much time to show the video footage. On 15 october I met again to Mr. Akhilesh Sharma (Sr. Manager- PNB, Sec-18, Noida) and he said you can come on Monday (17th octber) at 5 pm and we shall provide the video. When I reached on Monday at 5 pm then they provided me video that was not in Proper mode and could not play at any media player, neither on PNB system nor Our Laptop. Then 3rd party agents suggest us that they will provide us video from sector 15 metro station ATM. So you reach there and we will provide you video footage. When we reached at sector 15 Metro station there was no security guard and room was locked so now they made a complaint that the only guard has the key so we can not provide the video right now. You have to come tomorrow to take footage. When we callled to Mr. Akhilesh Sharma to inform that there is no security guard and we are not getting video he said security is on 3rd party pay roll so it does not come under PNB and gave us a new number to call security agency when we called their Incharge the mobile was going switchoff. We came back to bank to meet Mr. Akhilesh Sharma and again he made a new promiss with us that we can come next day and they will provide it surely.
Why PNB is providing so worst customer service. We are getting next day but still waiting that day when we will get any satisfactory response regarding our quries.
On the basis of my incident I shall think that government bank can not improve their service.
I therefore request you to provide me video footage of this. It will be highly appreciable if a date can also be provided. so that I may continue my action to get my money back
