Angry HDFC bank Quickremit

Hi,
I initiated a remittance with HDFC bank quickremit services. After 9 days they called me for KYC. I transferred the payment to remit in their account on the same day i started remittance.

Its now 10 days and they show status as "money awaited". The worst part of their services is they dont have any customer service call number (they just have email id to contact them for which they response in 48 working hours). I have been struggling to get this remittance done.

Its very frustrating and their services hell pathetic.
Please anyone can advise.

Thumbs down Reference number problem

Hi...I had transfered money from my Singapore DBS account to one ICICI account in India. I didn't mention QR000 before my reference number. Also the money from my DBS account already got remitted. my status in HDFC quick remit remains as "KYC". The pathetic part is there are no Call centre numbers to assist with this problem. HDFC bank is doing very bad in this perspective. I would like to know the status of my application. I had already mailed to quickremit@timesof money.com. Please assist

Hi,

I received a call from HDFC that my beneficiary's contact number cannot be reached. So I went to find out the proper contact numbers and emailed to quickremit@timesofmoney.com as instructed.

However, until today, I still did not receive any update. My beneficiary told me he did not receive any calls. When I logged in to quickremit, I cannot edit the numbers in the address book anymore. Your website gives me the message "You are not approved for this functionality. ".

What's happening?

My remittance reference number is 1900534001.

Default Pathetic customer service

I had a very similar experience with HDFC bank. I'm based in Singapore and was trying to get in touch with HDFC bank for 2 reasons. Firstly, to open an NRE savings account and also for a quickremit transaction. I had a very hard time finding some support person to talk to on phone (In the end it was some random number I pressed which got me there). So far I have been assured 5 times that someone will call me back but so far I got only 1 callback. I asked the person to call me again after some time as I was busy, but didn't get any call after that. I'm really tired of following up now and after reading all the experiences above I'm NOT going to remit my money through HDFC bank. It seems like a black hole to me...

Default Poor Customer service and infra - a terrible experience

I recently initiated a transaction for a large sum on HDFC quick remit. A customer service agent was quick enough to call me the other day to verify if I initiated that transaction. I was in hope that if they are this quick my Money would safely reach India soon. But today I got the shock of my life when they tried to pull out the entire sum from my checking account where as my profile clearly states that its my savings account that is linked to quick remit. I was charged by the bank for overdraft!! The sad part is that i cannot reach their customer care number(877-558-4257) to enquire about this. No where in this world would be a customer care number which disconnects itself after saying "all agents are busy please try after sometime". And each time you call you get the same response. No where can I find any button to cancel the transaction now. Also if it is NRI services shouldn't they be operating during the timings when its our day.

I won't do transaction with HDFC Remit again!! This experience was good enough.
My transaction numbers - 1819878003
1819878002 (ironically both still shows transaction in clearing..may be they will try pulling the amount again from the right account)

Is there a way I can make this guys pay the amount deducted by my bank for overdraft?

Default shame on HDFC

why the hell you (HDFC remit) do not have any call centre where customer can call and ask their queries. Its very irritating and shame to you.there are many banks who are dedicated to provide the service as quick as possible but HDFC, they would not like to learn and would never learn from their competitors. They are simply pathetic, useless.
