Hi,

I am in US right now. I have to make a payment to HDFC platinum Plus credit card for an amount of 1,11,500 INR. I send my friend the money through money transfer after speaking to credit card dept department of HDFC. He went to deposit the money today. HDFC bank is accepting only 49k at one go and is asking for my pancard. My friend told HDFC bank at magarpatta branch pune that he can give a copy of my pan card if they wanted. The dept department informed me that I have to make the payment without which they will charge me back.

Now in this case, if HDFC charges any more financial charges, what should I do? and when I am ready to pay the whole amount through my friend in India. I couldnt pay from here as there is no means. Even online, it is not allowing me to register online to my saving account. If they have such rules, they shouldnt charge me more. If HDFC does the same, I would take it to consumer court.
