I have applied for a Privilege Banking saving account in ICICI Bank, Sector 11, Panchkula on 24.02.2010. I have given a cheque of Rs. 25200/- Ch.No. 957221 Dt. 24.02.2010 drawn on HDFC bank Sector 11, Panchkula for opening of this account. Today till the 25th March 2010 I have not got credited the amount in my ICICI account. In this regard I have requested many times on Phone to Mr. Ajay Sharma, Sales Officer -CASA of ICICI Bank but no satisfactory answer. I have complained in the branch on 16th March 2010 and requested to not open the account and return my cheque but the operation incharge of Branch Mr. Santosh called me on my phone that it will be cleared in 1 or 2 days but today it is 25th March and I am suffered too much because my funds are blocked if i use my funds from HDFC Bank my cheque will be bounced.

Your good self is requested to please resolve my issue as soon as possible and mind my financial and goodwill loss.

I am a saving bank a/c holder of ICICI sector 11 punchkula from last 2 years. I was told to keep minimum 5000 in the a/c to run it properly without any problem. Due to some health problem i had to left my job and move from Punchkula to H.P. My a/c balance was 6000 plus when i left my job but a few months before i used my debit card to look for my balance and i was shocked to know that my balance was about 3000. I really wanted to know about all this and close my banc a/c. As i am living far away from punchkula, it is very difficult to come there. Please tell me what to do because for me it is very important to close my a/c.
