as i was an exsisting customer of the IDBI bank LBS Road PUNE
i was using DEMAT a/c since 1990 to 2007 and i was not making transaction at all after 2007
the balance as per the bank should be kept within range 5000/-(AQB)
as i m residential to PHALTAN previous bank UNITED WESTERN BANK LTD branch PHALTAN i am having a/c from 1975.
Due to my personal interest i was eager to ipen DEMAT A/C and at that time this facility was not available in PHALTAN BRANCH so BRANCH has suggested me to open the DEMAT A/C in LBS ROAD PUNE
which was providing the demat facility.
The rules and regulation was strictly followed by me upto 2007.
Due to merging with IDBI i stopped my all transaction on DEMAT but bank has not closed a/c
The rules and regulations of IDBI BANK was then totally different and Bank should inform us but unfortunately it was not happened. so they charged us quarterly 790/- since quarter ended SEP 2008
The total charge paid by me was RS. 2356/-
i think it was happened because of balance available in my DEMAT a/c
This issue i put over the PHALTAN Branch then they suggested me to enquire LBS ROAD PUNE branch.
they answered me it was ur responsibility to check always the NOTICE BOARD
as i told u I m residential to PHALTAN so practically it was very difficult to travel 250 kms only for reading the NOTICE BOARD
i think IT IS BANKs RESPONSIBILITY TO INFORM SUCH CUSTOMERS BY ANY MEANS.
this was not happened.
so i closed my a/c LBS ROAD PUNE from this incidence.

Now i need a propper solution from u.
My suggestion: Bank is charging a VERY HIGH AMOUNT those who r really sincere in their performance.
so Avoid it. These problems are faced here by verious other customers of IDBI
