Hello Sir/Madam

I have a salary account in the kotak mahindra bank and on 4th October 2010, I have put a request for withdrawal of Rs. 17400 in the kotak ATM in the Hiranandani. But what I see is that I only receive a amount of Rs. 14900 (i.e less amount of Rs. 2500). when I got the Mini statement, it was showing that i have withdrawn full amount Rs. 17400 that i have requested.

Same time I made a call to customer support regarding this issue and even I have told to the security guard about this issue. On Thusday(i.e 7th October 2010) I got a call from the bank that their system is showing that I have withdrawn whole amount. So they cannot credit back the amount of Rs. 2500 that i did not received from the ATM Machine.

So how is that possible that I did not get the full amount and their system is showing that I have withdrawn the requested amount.

Is that my mistake that their Machine is not working properly. It is my salary account other wise I would have closed the account.


Is their any chance that the ATM Machine has kept that amount for his own spending?

Please look at this matter. I still is in hope that the amount of Rs. 2500 get credited in my account.
