I am the student of 4th year BHMS in GPHMC Miraj. for scolership purpus I started an account in maharashtra bank at 13/3/2010 with minimum strting amount of Rs100-/ thean I filled my account with Rs500-/ at 8/4/2010 & at same day I given an application for ATM & checheque book term to hold checheque book is u should have minimum balunce of Rs500-/

So my balunce at 8/4/2010 is Rs600-/ so I am eligible to hold checheque book as my account have minimum balunce.

Then at 1/8/2010 I cheaked my account with my ATM card the balunce was Rs435-/ only the bank has reducted Rs165-/ as penulty to hold checheque book but allredy my account having their minimum criteria when I cunsalt a Miraj branch wher I started my account the manager said that its a new rule that u should have account started with Rs500-/ otherwise they deduct Rs165-/ but they did not inform me by any means before deducting balunce.


so plz. help me what should I have to do?
