(A) Case History of the Case
(a) Date: 11.03.2010 : Cheque no. 000047 dt. 11.03.2010 for Rs. 21187.00 received

(b) Date: 22.03.2010 : Since the account no. mentioned in the instrument was wrong there, Bondholder Dr. J.K.Arora, gave an application to this effect and same was received by local office on 22.03.2010

(c) Date: 18.05.2010 : No information was received therefore, a reminder was got received in the local office on 18.05.2010.

(d) Date: 12.07.2010 : Since no action appears to had been taken, therefore again a reminder was got received in the local office on 12.07.2010.

(B) Damages
Due to non-payment of claim, insured is paying interest on Rs.21187 taken for treatment of illness and undergoing mental harassment on account of un-due delay in payment of the same.
(C) Compensation Expected
Looking at the merit of the case , it is requested that (i) claim amount Rs.21187 be reimbursed (ii) a compound interest, from the date of submission of claim, be paid @ 18% p.a. (iii) Rs.5,000/- be reimbursed to insured as secretarial/clerical/stationery charges etc. spent by insured in this connection (iv) Rs50,000/- as compensation for mental harassment.
