Sub: Error in cash withdrawal from SB Account No. 035400030001013 from ATM No F03D065703 of Central Bank of India situated at Shivam Building Hadapsar, Sholapur Road, Pune 411013.

Dear Sir,

I have a savings bank account with your branch 035400030001013.for almost 2 decades i.e. 20 years. It is a account wherein my monthly pension from Government of Maharashtra is credited every month.

After retirement I migrated to Pune to stay with my son hence any correspondence should be made to my Pune address mentioned above.

I am a retired State Government Servant. On 21st August 2011, I requested my son, Mr. Chandrashekhar Marode to withdraw a sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) from the above mentioned ATM which is regularly used by us to withdraw cash.

My son Mr. Chandrashekhar Marode visited the ATM at 10.03.12 am on 21st August and used my ATM card to withdraw the amount which generated a receipt stating a comment that as invalid amount. Bearing TX # 4458 and RESPCODE 0062. Since the amount was invalid he did not get cash from the same

There is no mention of the cash amount drawn on this receipt. It is very evident that if the transaction slip mentions an invalid amount, the account holder was not delivered cash for any reason that is unknown to me or my son.

He further tried using the same card for the second time at 10.03:47 am in this attempt a receipt was generated showing insufficient funds bearing no TX#4459 and RESPCODE no 0051.

He tried again the same at 10.04:12 a.m and in this attempt a receipt again was generated showing insufficient funds bearing no TX#4460 and RESPCODE no 0051.

He then requested for mini statement from the ATM counter, twice but the ATM failed to generate any printed slip, but unfortunately the amount for mini statement Rs. 9 for each attempt, i.e Rs. 18 was debited to my account.

He then visited Punjab National Bank ATM Terminal no D4038600 at 12.01 pm and then a printed slip generated showed Rs. 10000/- debited for cash withdrawal (failed attempt) and Rs. 9 debited twice for mini statement.

Then my son called the online customer support cell of Punjab National Bank on the toll free number 1800-1802-222 on and filed a complaint and received a reference number 56045111 dated 22nd August 2011, the customer care executive asked my son to wait for 7 working days. In case if the amount is not credited back, he should file a written complaint with PNB.

He then filed a hand written complaint on 3rd Sept 2011 addressed to PNB Delhi and handed over to PNB Pune camp branch customer care which was received and duly acknowledged.

I now humbly request you to treat this matter urgently and help me to receive my hard earned money back into my bank account.

I am enclosing herewith the self attested photocopies following documents.
1. ATM Slip No TX#4458 dated 21st August 2011.

2. ATM Slip No TX#4459 dated 21st August 2011.

4. Ministatement of PNB from ATM D4038600 dated 21st August 2011
