my pf. fund was returned by bank of maharastra instead of crediting it in my account for the only reason that the account number was changed to eleven digit , the bank may change the account number many number of times for its convenience , but my account remains the same , i have sent a complaint to the head office of the bank of maharastra. their reply was just an eye wash . they just asked me to approach the bank and get a written refusal, will a bank give a refusal , they refused to give awritten refusal , and had only sent a letter to the pf dept to credit my pf amount in the new number with out explaining that the old and new number belong to the same person, and the net transation credit was returned with out accessing into my account . i have enclosed all the complaint letter and reply letters sent and received until this date.

I was working in a private co. named Sree Gokulam Chits (Branch office ) Based at namakkal Town. I have a Savings Bank A/c in your bank for the past Seven years by regular transactions, my monthly salary was also obtained by me through this account.

I resigned my Job From the above said company during January 2010. and applied for the Refund of the provident Fund amount . The bank of Maharastra (Namakkal Branch) Manager has Attested his Signature by advising The PROVIDENT FUND Department to

Send the PF refund amount to your Bank on the account of A.SHANMUGAM A/C No: 2297. The branch manager Verified all my ID proofs such as VOTERS ID , FAMILY CARD, PAN CARD and also the BANK PASS BOOK and he Himself wrote in his own hand

writing that my account number is 2297. I HAVE SENT THE ORIGINAL COPY IN THE ATTACHMENT. The PROVIDENT FUND DEPARTMENT has sent two (2) BANKERS CHEQUE OF STATE BANK OF INDIA , NAMAKKAL in my name and account no: 2297 for amount approx. 29,000/- and for Rs. 13,000/- Your bank has purposely Refused the cheque Stating that the account number has been changed to eleven digit number such as ( New No: 20166310323) . THE BANK HAS NO RIGHT TO REFUSE THE P.F FUND

since my account is SELF EXPLANATORY and the bank only has changed the account number for all. In such a case I once again approach the p.f department and they have asked to approach the CONSUMER COURT to file a case against the bank. Since I have never cancelled my s/b account nor opened a new account . My account remains the same from the beginning till now.Therefore I humbly request your good selves to hear over my grievance and help me get my p.f or other vice I have to approach the competent court (consumer court , Labor court ) to get justice.

The branch manager Verified all my ID proofs such as VOTERS ID , FAMILY CARD, PAN CARD and BANK PASS BOOK and he Himself wrote in his own hand writing that my account number is 2297. I HAVE SENT THE ORIGINAL COPY IN THE ATTACHMENT. The PROVIDENT FUND DEPARTMENT has sent two (2) payment s via STATE BANK OF INDIA , NAMAKKAL in my name and account no: 2297 for amount Rs. 29,598/- of No: MAHB/102461823017 and for Rs. 13,303/- of No: MAHB/102461823059. The BANK OF MAHARASHTRA has purposely REFUSED and Diverted the fund amount Stating that the account number has been changed to eleven digit number such as ( New No: 20166310323) . THE BANK HAS NO RIGHT TO REFUSE THE P.F FUND since my account is SELF EXPLANATORY and the bank has changed the account number for all its customers. I have never cancelled my s/b account nor opened a new account . My account remains the same from the beginning till now. Therefore I humbly request your good selves to hear over my grievance and help me get my Provident Fund.
