Dear Sir

I am to inform you that I am having a saving Bank account jointly with my wife Mrs Somasrita Mohapatra in Priyadarsani Market branch of State Bank of India at Bhubaneswar. My account details is mentioned below

Account No.: SBI A/C No. 30848961047

On 24.02.2010 at 12 noon while opening my account in internet i.e E-banking I came to know that an amount of Rs 2,84,000/- ( Two Lakh, Eight Four Thousand Rupees ) is fraudulently withdrawn in ten separate transactions from my Account without my knowledge.

After knowing this illegal incident I wanted to lodge a police complain for this on 24.02.2010 but my complain was not registered at Nayapalli police station and I was advised to contact cyber crime branch under crime branch, cuttack stating that my case is cyber related. Accordingly I had also submitted my complaint to crime branch on 25.02.2010, vide my above referred letter under SL.No.(1). Subsequently on follow up by me for proceedings, I.G,CID,CB during March-2010 had again advised me to register my complain at my local police station ( Nayapalli) as the value of my lost money was less i.e. Rs:284000.00 only and hence case cannot be registered at crime branch cuttack. After rigorous follow up & intervention of Human Rights Commission, my FIR was registered at Nayapalli Police station on 26.06.2010 vide FIR No. 184 (32), dtd. 26.06.2010.

All information and development I have intimated to DGM SBI Customer care, CVO SBI & Chairman SBI by Email and now making follow up by frequent reminder Emails ( As of date 10 th reminder). After frequent follow up with SBI authorities I was told by them that further action shall be taken by them only after receipt of Police report.

I understand as of date there is confusion between Nayapalli Police as well as Cyber Crime cell, Cuttack, who shall take up the matter for investigation.

Already more than Six months have passed since occurrence of the incident in which I have lost my hard earned money of Rs:2,84,000.00. This money I had allocated for the urgent medical treatment of my old father. I therefore pray for your kind intervention into this matter and suitable steps at your end for quick recovery of my money. For this loss of my hard earned money and delay in recovery I am growing tremendous mental pressure and feeling hopeless.

Kindly help me in this regard please.

Thanking You
Yours faithfully
