Hi,
On 05-10-2011 SBI Bank branch OSIAN (Jodhpur Rajasthan) had cleared my cheque(with signature) that was stolen from my house to unknown person without giving any information to me and without any ID proofs.
Now bank manager saying that cheque was an order cheque and they pay such checks without any information.
That cheque was empty but signatured. Thief had filled that check as payee "UMEDARAM" and Amount 3,20,000 Rs.
How can pay SBI big amount cheque without ID proof?
Theif was guaranteed by a old SBI customer "Sohanlal" but "Sohanlal" saying he did not give the guarantee. Person who has stolen that cheque asked Sohanlal to give gaurantee but Sohanlal ignored for this. After this That Person seen the withdrwal document in Sohanlal's hand and noted Sohanlal's SBI account number and also Signature(very simple and easy signature).
He written the SBI a/c number and Signed himself on that cheque as a witness.
I had a big loss and what to do.
