i went to SBI for opening PPF account in vikhroli west branch. It is worst branch that i ever seen. Bank assistant are not cooperative. they are not ready to provide proper information. because of their lack of assistance, i wasted my 5-6 days. I rushed to them 5-6 times, just for opening one single account..

After that today i visited same branch again for opening an account of my friend. My friend verified all documents and form from sbi employee. all documents and form were properly filled. while submitting them, bank employee rejected form and said 'visit tomorrow, i dont want to take it today'. When i asked for reason , he told that 'it is not necessary to tell u reason'. After that he mentioned that visit tomorrow at sharp 9.00 am and we can take only 10 first forms.. is this NEW RULE OF SBI?????

Actually after trying many places i an writing here, i requested for online kit in branch and they gave me but the problem was it was not updated on the system for 2 month after two month when i went back to my home i visited the bank and then it was now updated but again they just updated the general login neither they gave the transaction rights or anything in it and when again i am trying to contact branch they are saying to visit the branch , now is always possible for a person to visit again and again that too from delhi to just solve such problems is it not the responsibilty of the bank to provide the support and if i try to call to say something they just now hang up the phone giving no response ...

I have an saving account with SBI sec.-2 bank ranchi branch. there was unauthorized withdrawals of money on 18.06.11 amount 24000 from my account using cloned atm card. i did not recieve any notification and i lost 24 thousand rupees from my account..
please look into the matter and help me retrieve my money back.

My name is Malkhan Singh Chauhan , i tried so many times to my bank to change my online banking mobile number, but every time they respond there is no one in the office. Call after 4-5 days Due to this i am facing lots of problem. i am unable to do any transaction. Please help me out, i am so much disappointed by the services of SBI.

Today I went my nearest SBI BRUNCH : Belilious Road, to deposit an amount in a NON-HOME BRUNCH (Dinhata).
Every month I do this job for some family purpose. When my turn came at the counter, it was already half an hour late and the staff who was in the cash counter, told me very roughly --' today is saturday and you cannot deposit your money. Get out'. I was very angry at that time and shocked also. But I didn't argue with him. A sincere staff when knew this event, he helped me to deposit my money.

Please take some action.

Today 22nd Aug around 11.00 to 11.40 AM One lady calls up and in the opening of the call only, after confirming my name she said do u hv sbi card........ i said which card u r talking about debit or credit, she said credit i said no than again in a very rudely and unprofessional manner she again confirmed any other......card , i said i dont think so...... and she hung up on me .........is that what u call customer service


I I think she was calling frm a call centre i tried the number again but i got a msg service not available....


In this competive world if u cant even chk what ur employees r dng than i am sorry u cant survive longer such a worst experiance ...................patbetic...... for referance numbr attached 911148788500 from which i got a call .

I have the honour to inform you that i have withdraw the amount of Rs.10,000.00 on 03-10-2011 at 7:07 pm from ATM,AXIS Bank Mangaldai by ATM ID No: T1DC1066 and Record No: 6336. but after that very next day, i suddenly received a sms alert from my mobile no. 9435196456 at tue7:33 am on 04-10-2011 to withdrawal another amount of Rs. 10,000.00 and then hurriedly go to your bank branch Mangaldai. After mini statement from ATM sbi branch on same day and accordingly informed the case to security staff of bank branch due to holiday for durga puja. He told me that you will come to branch on friday after opening the bank branch.
So, necessary arrangement may be taken or rectify my case and cancel the overdrawal amount of Rs. 10,000.00 on 04-10-2011.

I have FDR with IOB, mumbai and ICICI , mumbai.
The rates were revised in July 2011. however, both the banks did not automatically revise the rates on FDR from that date. On enquiries they said there is no provision.

When I asked them to give me the increased rates they refused and asked me close the acct.They paid the eligible rate for that period (which was less) and then ICICI nbank deducted one % as penalty.I lost Rs 4000 on Rs 1 L FDR.Why cant banks revise rates automatically from the date new rates take effect.? They charge for loans and in case of increase in min balance.Why not for FDRs?

This wud save staff from closing and opng FDRs. Also, the period for which I closed and opened the new FDR is for the same expiry date.Thus, because the bank has no automatic revision system and neither has RBI directed them they go their merry ways.

This affects pensioners badly. I hope the finance ministry/RBI intervenes in the matter.

I wonder a suitable clause is not included in the FDR form itself, to the effect that rates would be revised when new rates are fixed.Why shd old depositors lose for nothing.Bank makes a gain because loan rates are revised.Similarly when min balances are revised then it takes immediate effect.
