I have made a fixed deposit of Rs 10 Lakh on 31st May 2012 for a period of 1000 days at the State Bank of Travancore Salt Lake City branch ( branch code:70682) ,Kolkata. According to the terms of this fixed deposit scheme the interest @9.5% on the principal amount of Rs 10 Lakh would be credited to my savings bank account on a quarterly basis.So the first quarterly interest of Rs 23750 would have been credited to my savings bank account by end of August 2011. Till date I have not received that quarterly interest of Rs 23750. I have visited the bank several times and requested the concerned bank officials and the bank manager to please solve the issue.But they have done nothing regarding it even they have not acknowledged the letters that I have written to them and have refused to provide me the received copy of the letters.
