On 30th of October 2010, I had called Standard Charted Bank Customer Care No to submit request for replacement of my damaged Debit Card. I was told that the card would be dispatched within 04 working days. Accordingly the card was dispatched through Express It Courier (AWB No. 7621693225) on 3rd November 2010 by the Bank. But till today (20/11/2010) I have not received the card.
When I checked with the courier company they told that the card has been returned back to The Bank on 18th November 2010 citing incomplete address. However the Bank is denying that the card has been returned back to them & are telling that the card is with the Courier company. My other problem is that how the Bank gave incomplete address to the courier company when they have full mailing address in their records (which is confirmed every time I call the Customer Care number of the bank). Each time i call the Bank they assure me that the card would be delivered within 48 hrs.
I am feed up with this laid back attitude of the bank
Please help me in this regard.
