    Default Standard Chartered Misguidance and fraud

    Clear trip had an offer that if you make a transaction on Standard Chartered Debit card you will be getting a 10% cash back,so to confirm i had called up the standard chartered call center and they also told me that i will be getting a cash back without mentioning or guiding me on any information on entering a code ,the recording can be cross checked.Now when i am calling from 3 days for my cash back they told me we are checking and now on the last day they tell me you should have entered the code and you will not be getting the cash back.I feel i was misguided by not mentioning the terms and conditions by the agent which is the standard chartered bank fault.

    Dear Sir,

    I am getting Mails from Standard Chartered Bank without having Account regarding credit card payment statements .Please concern this and let me know why I am getting Mails to my company mail id.

    This bank is very worst bank and do business without any policy and quality. They don't have any kind of customer mailing system and keep charging the interest to interest without informing to customer. They do the stupid business by keep pending issues for long time and without proper information to customer and keep rotate the issue and prolong the issues for long time to get the big money on interest.

    Today in the afternoon , at around 2.30 pm i recieved a call from Ms Malancha dasgupta ( calling from SCB) . she informed me that i have a due with the bank and my outstanding is Rs 18152/- and i need to pay it up by tonight to tomorrow .I was taken back , i did not recollect having used a SCB Credit card for the last 6 to 7 year. so i told her that i don't recollect having any due , then she told me that this is a due from 1999 and with intrest it has come to this figure. I told her i do not recollect the happenings of 1999 and if it was due so long , why did the bank wait for 12 yrs and call me now, they should have send me a letter stating the due in my permanent address which they did not. i told them that i would still pay up if the provide me with the documents stating my dues which they said they will not provide as i am a skip customer, as i did not update my records with the bank. Now why do i update my records with any bank where i do not have a a/c or transaction as per my record.

    I am completely agree with this statement. SCB really has very much bad policy and really they wait for long to settle matters to get high interest amounts from it's customers. After becoming a big amount, Ms. Nisha from their Recovery Department call to customer, their family members, friends and office colleagues and harass them all again & again. This bank should be banned by RBI else they will keep this practice of harassing it's customers for long.
