I have withdrawn Rs. 7000 from Axis Bank ATM from a SBI debit card. They have debited my account by Rs. 14000 instead of Rs. 7000 on same transaction number. I have registered my complaint so many times but SBI couldn't help me. I n face when I asked that give me the reason why can't I get my money back they said they don't understand why. A bank can't give such kind of answer in my opinion.

I need help. Its been 4-5 months now since I have been visiting the branch but no use.

i hereby want to complaint about the wrong transaction using sbi atm card in the pnb atm. to notify you on the 11th april 2011, i withdraw Rs. 1000/- from PNB atm using my SBI atm cum debit card and after transaction it was showing available balance Rs. 400 instead of Rs.1400/. so i took out the mini statment from the SBI atm kiosk itself and there it was showing two types of transactions at the same tim, one transaction of Rs. 1000 as ATM WDL which is legal as it is atm withdrawal simple and in return i got the money also but at the same time there was another entry of transaction showing in the mini statment of Rs. 1000 as DOM WDL which is not a valid transaction as i have done only a single transaction and only from ATM and from nowhere else. when i contact branch manger he is saying you have done some "shoping oping" i make him clear about what is truth but he is not ready to listen me and keep on saying please remember you may have done and you are not aware of this transaction.....!! please give the solution as soon as possible i am a student staying outside my hometown for studies and i have the only limited amount to spent and this kind of situation creates alot more problem sir as my father is farmer so i can't ask him more and more.....hope you understand the problem well sir....!! waiting for your response sir.

I faced the same problem and I am telling you that I took rounds of SBI for four months and then finally I took a strong step to fight this challenge to get my money back. SBI bank told me that they can not help me but I knew that I was right and I have to get my money back. Just do one thing that go to your SBI Branch and tell then put your complaint and ask for the ticket number but remember tell them that it is a case of double debit on same transaction number. Once they launch your complaint get the ticket number from them and take follow up. It might get you anything but yo'll have a proof that you have complaint against it. If this doesn't work SMS unhappy on 8008202020 try this it works, see my problems were not solved after doing all this but finaaly I contacted DGM and AGM of SBI M.P and I told them that I am going to complain against SBI in banking ombudsman which is very strong department for all banking related problem will y believe after saying so they got my money back just in 3 days as I have given them 3 days time that i should get my money back in 3 days otherwise I'll complaint against you. n I got it. but for doing so you should have at least 2 ticket number on which you have complaint as a proof which shows that you have tries but bank is not helping you. Don just forget your money fight for it. call on SBI toll free number also of your state and launch the comaplint get the ticket number. n save it in ur mobile.

im coustomer of state bank of india .m very unsatisfied by sbi bank service,on 25 sep 11.i have went to withdrow mony [500] from axis bank atm..because in ongc colony panvel the sbi atm shuteer was closed thats why i was went to axis atm due to sme machincal problem i had not get money..but i got dat withdrow slip where rs 500 was CREDITED. then i gave application to sbi for this they had promiced me that the mony will b debit within 7 days.i hd given complaint to unhappy the service from sbi bank bt i had not get yet my money.kindly see this.
