Dear Sir/Madam,

Greetings!!!

I am Munish Kaushik, working in an NGO in the field of “Disaster Management” and based in Ghaziabad/New Delhi. This communiqué is regarding harassment from Credit Card companies which has affected my wife’s education loan process as I was guarantor for her. This may be a routine problem received by you, but I have faced lot of embarrassment in last few weeks. I am writing this letter with great hope.

1. I was holding ICICI (American Express) card 377041510751000 validity 02/07 to 02/011. But I stopped using this card two years back and settled all my dues by paying INR 2232 on 27th March 2008. But even after paying all my dues, I kept getting statement which they later stopped after my repeated complaints at customer care.

2. Second case, is very peculiar. I applied for SBI credit card but never received it. Strangely, I started receiving credit statements (Credit card no 5264685324555380) without using the card. This kept happening for One year and after One year (June 2010), SBI stopped sending me the statement again after my many requests to their customer care.

Now, when I applied for my education loan two weeks back, bank refused to lend me loan as I was found defaulter in CIB(I)L records. That was the time of utter surprise for me and highly embarrassing position in front of bank people as my other records (IT Return, form 16, Bank statement, Salary slip) were perfect and in order.

I have followed up this issue with both the banks (ICICI and SBI) and obtained NO OBJECTION letter and INR 0 amount due certificates. Please find attached along with this mail. But still my name is in DEAFAULT list. Attached pdf file may ask for password which is muni0206.

I request to please look into the matter at the earliest. My wife have to apply for Visa after two weeks. This issue is of extreme important for me at this moment. I have consulted my lawyer and going to give legal notices to ICICI and SBI next week.

Please suggest/process so that I get my records clean in Credit Card/CIB(I)L records. My PAN Number is AJGPK 8251Q .
