Worst and nonsense customer service by HDFC Bank

Angry Worst and nonsense customer service by HDFC Bank

Monday September 6, 2010 : on september 6th entire day HDFC BANK Netbanking not available. Whenever I call customer service I get answer "we apologise" this does not make sense to me as I had to make urgent payment to my credit card failing which I will have to pay 3.5% penalty ..if my credit card charge me extra 3.5% will HDFC Bank re-emberse me? HDFC Bank customer service does not exist on first working day of the week which is Monday! HDFC has become shameless bank..

I have been trying to do the same since yesterday, i.e. 5th Sep 10. Thankfully my transactions are not urgent. I have 10 more days to pay the premium. But now that the service is down for 2 days who knows if the same continues for 15 more days!!.. And wth are we supposed to do till then?? I hate transaction in cash!

Angry Does it takes 48 hrs to reset the questions to retry the Net Banking password

I have wrongly entered the answers for the questions during a transaction. I was trying to connect to HDFC bank customer care to reset the password and it took nearly half-an-hour to get a response...again the guy who attended transferred the call to another person (complaints department). He kept me on hold for another 15 mins and he asked for the PIN number for which again he took another 15 mins and finally he gave me a REQUEST NUMBER and said it will take another 48 hours to reset your questions and then you can make use of the net banking. I really dont know what i can do with the request number and iam in an urgent to pay my credit card and phone bills. Please help me its really urgent.

Dear customer,

We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that you can also reset your IPIN online, which will save you both time and trouble. To regenerate your IPIN online, please follow the below steps:

Pre-requisites: You should have a Debit card linked to your Customer Identification Number.
Step 1) Go to NetBanking Login Page.
Step 2) Click on the link "Forgot your IPIN (Password)"
Step 3) Type your Customer ID number and click on "Go"
Step 4) You will be shown a list of active HDFC BANK ATM / Debit cards that are linked to your Customer ID
Step 5) Select any of the linked cards (In case you have more than one card)
Step 6) Please type your DEBIT PIN & Card Expiry Date
Step 7) Enter your new NetBanking Password and re-login.

my no. is +919779664461

the worst net banking it is.

when i have to need it is not working.

Please let me know is it professional or personnel.

This is not the way. You can never be a trend setter. Even the time processing for money transferg is very high.

Since morning I am getting the following message while trying to access HDFC netbanking.
"We apologize, but this facility is temporarily unavailable. Please try later."
I have an important transaction to make.

It seems that this is a frequent problem of HDFC bank. What are they doing about it?

Angry netbaking down as usual

I have been trying to log in to my account since a day but to no avail.
All that comes is this
We apologize, but this facility is temporarily unavailable. Please try later.

Been outside India this is the only means.
And they dont even have 24*7 helpline.
Its pathetic!!!!
When will HDFC netbaking ever get alright?

Smile HDFC Netbanking transaction error

Sir I want to recharge my mobile through netbanking but its giving error message :
We apologize, but this facility is temporarily unavailable. Please try later.

and I m trying its since last 30 minutes n time is 1.00 am I cant go anywhere.

pls convey your downtime 15 days in advance do that we can make appropriate arrangements for our money transfer during your maitanence.I hv an urgent req of transfering the money bt the servcie is temp unavailable...pls inform ven it will be up.
