Hi,

This is to complain against Aviva Life Insurance. I had taken a loan from HDFC bank and had got this Insurance Policy from Aviva as part of the package. When I contacted them to give me some papers of the policy they informed me that they had given it to the bank as per the policy.

On enquiring from the bank, the bank officials told me they have no such records or any paper. At this point I decided to contact the Aviva people once again and they failed to give a satisfactory answer.

I then asked them to either refund my money or provide me with details about the policy so that I know how much am I being insured for and how much is the due amount and where is all the money going.

I then received a post from Aviva stating that since the policy had lapsed as I did not make the payment for the policy they are not bound to give any refund.

This is against the law, as they have taken my money without my consent and are now not only refusing to pay but are also not able to fulfill my requests of providing any documents of the policy.

They have give me a UIN number which is 122L001V02.

My Policy number is WLG1487719.

I want to file a case against them for not giving my money back in the name of a lapsed policy and failing to provide me with sufficient documents to confirm the presence of some policy under my name - Jagpat Lodha.

this is for AVIVA Life insurance company regarding Administrative
charges on policy first of all i would like to tell that company deducting too many admin charge
2500 /month of anual premeum 40000/- and they also deducting 250 plus that is not according
policy bond ,when i asked abut it from company they reply me it is sale/service tax 10.3%
but company does not declare service tax in charge statement ,in charge statement 2500+2500 =2750
mentioned as administrative charge in place of 2500.
i thing company would not pay service tax to gov if they not mentioned it in charge statement as service tax
am i right???
if i am right then company cheated me and gov also and if it is right then i would like to refund my money
please any one guide me how can i get my money back ?

Hi ,

I bought a policy ( policy ID :Asv2162538,Policy name : safegaurd, bought on 11th sep 2008 ), sold to me by Arvind kumar through bancassurance through Inudsind bank ( branch at GK-2, new Delhi).

Aviva is not ready to handover my policy document neither they are ready reveal out the units I have .

I have requested them through

1) Phone - 3 times
2) mail - 2 times
3) Face to face -1

today I tried to lodge a complaint through phone to customer care , they started to abuse me (customers executive name : deepak yadav), he told me that you should written complaint to get all these things and blamed for not trying enough to get the document , he kept me waiting for providing me detail but he never came back .

On the site they don't grievance section to complain about them

Please provide me solution
