I have bought a policy of Birla sunlife insurence company Ltd on 30th July 2011 after getting an assistance on phone. The caller told me that he is calling from Birla sunlife Insurence company ltd. He told me about a 5 year term insurence plan. He said that If I pay 30000 Rs per annum then I'll get aroun 260000 Rs after maturity in 5 years and I'll also get a life cover till 99 years of my age. I'll get 3 lacs Rs on normal death and 60000 Rs on accidental death. I'll also get a Hospital care of 20000 lacs for my self. But when my policy document reached me I found nothing what I was told. The plan is of 15 year term and I am bound to pay till 15 Years. I contacted those people and they told me that my bond paper will reach me shortly with every details as per their instructions. What I have got is just a welcome kit as per them. They also told me that I have a freelook period of 100 days which was 15 days only in reality. Tehy were just brokers and cheated me. I have already paid 33,395 Rs as first premium and my freelook period is over. I have complained to Birla Sunlife Insurence company ltd with complain id-46618 on 14th december,2011. I just want to cancel my policy and want refund of my premium amount worth 33,395 Rs. Please help me in this matter
