I have taken Life partner policy from Max New york Life insurance company. My annual premium is Rs.50,000/-. I have paid two semi-annual premiums. My third semi-annual premium was on 8/05/2010. I got call from one Mr. Devang Pandya from Max new york asking me for payment. He was having all my details about my policy no, my residential address,my premium amount etc. He told me that he will send one courier person to my house to collect the payment. Hence on next day courier person came to collect the cheque. He was having a reciept which contains the name of Max new york Life, and a request to hand over the cheque to him . Hence I gave him a chaque on the name of " The Max New York Life Insurence Co. Ltd".
I was outstation for a couple of weeks. When I came on 24/5/2010 I got a new letter of premium remainder. Hence I checked in the bank, and I found that the payment has been debited from my account. But when I inquired helpline whether they have received it or not I found that THE PAYMENT IS NOT DEPOSITED IN MY MAX NEW YORK ACCOUNT. Then question is WHERE IS THE PAYMENT HAS GONE? IS THERE A FRAUD IN BETWEEN?

I am writing this and crying at the same time. My insured daughter (by Max New York Life Insurance Company Chandigarh office) died at PGI Chandigarh. She was insured and her POLICY NUMBER 801911637. Her claim reference number 200930701019. She died of Multiple Organ Dysfunction Syndrome (MODS) and SPECTIC SHOCK. All the hospital, Diagnostic / investigation & treatment records, causing death demanded had been handed over to Ms Ritu Arora Customer Service Executive Max New York Life Insurance Company limited SCO No. 36-37-38, 2nd floor Sector 8-C Madhya Marg Chandigarh. They demanded detail of medical care etc. obtained for her for the last five years. It has been pointed out that no treatment had been taken by her. As a proof, her School record attendance etc was taken by their representative.

They have obtained Death Certificate; Form A, Form C, Medical Certificate, NEFT Mandate, Photo ID, Policy Document (Original). Doctor did mention Carcinoma Nasopharynx decease as contributing to death in addition to Multiple Organ Dysfunction Syndromes (MODS) and SPECTIC SHOCK in their certificate but they treated only for Multiple Organ Dysfunction Syndromes (MODS) and SPECTIC SHOCK and all record of the same had already been taken by them.

Now they are demanding, record pertaining to Carcinoma Nasopharynx.

PGI provided as per their letter no. PGI/CRD/09/1762 dated 07-12-09 all information on the format of insurance company required for insurance claim. In this letter they clarified that in case of death, only death notification form is issued and as per their policy, no other record is issued for insurance purpose.

Thus I had double loss, I have lost my daughter and at the same time I have not been given the death claim.

Further to dismay are the facts that whenever we approached their office they just treat very rudely and kept us sitting whole day outside their office and even do not attend phone.

Now the company is not replying to our reminders. Please help me to get the death claim and also take necessary action against the above mentioned company so that other may not be suffer like me.

Insurance is nothing but ****ing bull shit, taking 1 rupee now and giving back 10 rupees after 20 years,After 20 years 10 Rs is the same price which is a 1 rupee now.

i went to guwahati (assam) branch for complain against Brikam Nath.Because he checked my bank account without any permission.i gave a check against a policy.if no record any of check bounce from my account in guwahati branch,why he check it

when i went to meet Mr. Amar Das (TM of Guwahati branch) for discuss about the matter he told me that u withdraw your policy and many more he insult me.
if u not take any action against him i am going to withdrwa my policy also with my friends and i'll go to the new channel about the matter.

I feel sorry for ur daughter but at the same time I appreciate your will to take the company head on.One of my relative who was going to opt for Max New york policy has been advised to go with some other company like Tatas who have a better service model.Its good that you have highlighted your problem.

I have taken a policy from max life insurance co. They had misrepresented all the terms and conditions of the policy. I am paying 4 lakhs per year for 3 years. i have already paid 6 lakhs completing 1.5 years. Now its been noted that i have been given wrong information by the agent about the maturity amount, charges, etc. when they had given me the policy. Further they said that if i dont pay more 6 lakhs then they will not give me any amount and my policy will be lapse. Can anyone help me with this issue.

I am ready to settle by deducting some amount, however they are not ready to give a single Re.1 and take all the premiums as their profit. Also they are not ready to transfer this premium into other policy.

FYI - i took this policy in connection with my home loan. They forcefully told me to take this policy. What should i do? Do i stop paying my home loans EMI's. Its not possible to pay premiums as i am already having difficulties paying my home loans. Though i can pay home loans but not premiums as its a total loss as per their terms which i was not been told before.

I have paid yearly two premium of Rs.50000/- ( 25000 x 2 ) from 3rd year i was unable to pay premium as i was not in a position to pay. can you please help me to give back some amount of premium as i am in very bad situation currently.

It is matter of great regret the above two policy has already been denied by the policy holder with in stipulated period (i.e. within a 15 days) after that Invested amount has not refund sofare whenever Agent promise several time that your cheque are ready and may payment within 10th days, but after passing 5 month refund can not be received.

However you are again request to clear the position sothat Legal formalities may started against the Company for realisations of fund against above two policies invested amount.
