This year in the month of April, 27th I had my family health insurance policy issued by Alankit Healthcare TPA Limited, New Delhi through National Insurance Company, Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan.. But before that on 13th April I had my angiography and I was told by the doctor to have my bypass surgery as there were three major blockage in my heart. I could not do the bypass immediately as my blood platelets count was less than 100000. I had to wait and take medicine for that defiency in blood till 23rd of June for bypass grafting which was performed at Artemis Health Institute, Sector-- 51, Gurgaon. After my operation on the said date I send all the documents , cost of operation and medicines ( almost all papers original) to Alankit Healthcare TPA Ltd., Alankit House, 2E/21 Jhandelwan Extn., New Delhi.. Later on They did not bother to send me any clarification in written why I am not entitled to get the benefit of this policy.Neither National Insurance Company nor Alankit Healthcare Ltd. has taken any initiative to inform me in writing. It is nothing but to harass and a kind of psychological torture for a patient like me. I do not know how many such patients have suffered at the hands of such TPAs. Till date I have not received any clarification regarding non-payment or reimbursement related to my operation.
Moreover except the policy no. and card they have not send anything (paper) where it shows its rule, terms and conditions.
